BE Fit Modern Pilates on Lovers Lane sits inside Inwood Village in northwest Dallas, a short drive from Highland Park, University Park, and SMU. We opened the studio in October 2024 to bring our 45-minute X-Former classes to the Park Cities and Preston Hollow side of the city.
The work is slow, controlled, and demanding. Continuous tension on the X-Former engages slow-twitch muscle fibers in a way that traditional reformer Pilates and high-impact cardio can’t match. Every class hits cardio, strength, balance, and core stability inside a single 45-minute block.

Why Lovers Lane
The Park Cities community has long had options for traditional reformer Pilates and barre. BE Fit on Lovers Lane is the X-Former option built around slow resistance training and the Make It Shake methodology. The neighborhood is built around busy professionals, SMU faculty and students, and families who want a workout that delivers strength and conditioning without the joint impact of HIIT or running.
We share Inwood Village with established Dallas favorites and sit a quick drive from Preston Center, Highland Park Village, and NorthPark Center. The studio is one block off Inwood Road and accessible from the Dallas North Tollway, Central Expressway, and Northwest Highway. Free parking is shared with the shopping center.
What a Class Looks Like
Every BE Fit class runs 45 minutes and follows the same structure. You move through controlled holds, slow lifts, and targeted intervals on the X-Former, a slow-resistance training machine designed for time-under-tension work. Your instructor cues form, pace, and breath while moving the class as a unit.
The trademarked MAKE IT SHAKE® methodology is the slow burn at the end of each move, the moment when the muscle starts to fatigue and shake. That’s the work doing what it’s supposed to do.
Classes are open to all levels. First-timers should book an Intro Class so the instructor can walk you through the machine before the regular session starts. Modifications are available for injuries and pregnancy. Let your instructor know before class and they will adjust the work for you.

You can easily reserve your spot through our online scheduling system or the BE Fit app. Since we keep our classes small for a more personalized experience, we recommend booking in advance.
Yes. However, we ask that you make any changes at least 8 hours before your class begins. If a modification is made within that 8-hour window or if you’re unable to attend:
- Limited Membership Holders: The class credit for the session will be forfeited.
- Unlimited Membership Holders: A $25 late-cancel/no-show fee will be applied.
Deposits aren’t required. Sessions are paid for at the time of booking, and memberships are set to renew automatically unless you make changes to your BE Fit account.
We suggest wearing comfortable activewear and bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated. For safety and stability during classes, grip socks are a must. You’re welcome to bring a pair from home or purchase some at the studio.
No. To ensure sufficient equipment for all members and to keep our classes intimate, we require reservations for Pilates on Lovers Lane in advance. You can secure your spot through our site or app.
Aiming to arrive 10–15 minutes early gives you plenty of time to settle in and get familiar with our space before you start. This is especially helpful if it’s your first visit, so we can properly introduce you to the equipment.
To protect the flow of the workout and the safety of all participants, we are unable to accommodate late arrivals once class has started.
- New Clients: Because the initial setup is essential for your safety, we cannot admit first-time guests once the session begins.
- Returning Clients: We offer a 5-minute grace period for those familiar with the equipment. After that point, entry is closed to prevent disruption to the group.

The studio is at 5509 W Lovers Lane, Suite A, inside the Inwood Village shopping center on the east side of Inwood Road in Dallas. The closest cross streets are Inwood Road and Lovers Lane.
Yes. Parking is free and shared with Inwood Village. There is a surface lot directly outside the studio.
BE Fit operates four other Dallas-area studios: West Village in Uptown, Lower Greenville on Greenville Avenue, Addison in north Dallas, and Southlake. Your membership works at all of them.
